“Jacob named the place, Peniel.” Genesis 32:30. Peniel means “face of God.” When you are called to go back and face your past, God may call you first to face Him. You need to get things right with Him before you can right some things with others. As you ask for His forgiveness, He’ll help you remember those you’ve wronged so you can ask for their forgiveness.
