Anointed And Appointed

“But David kept going back and forth from Saul to tend his father’s flock in Bethlehem.” 1 Samuel 17:15.
David was anointed earlier as king, but had to wait until the appointed time to serve in that position. God equips you with a gifting needed for your calling in life. That’s called the anointing. The appointing may not come until later, but it will come. It’s better to have the power before the position than the position with no power. You’ll then be full of confidence and not full of questions.
