“…and having prepared everything, take your stand.” Ephesians 6:13
Paul tells us about the Christian armor, which includes a belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, and helmet for spiritual warfare. We are to take a stand against the enemy, but instead we run. You are not equipped for that move because there is no piece of equipment to protect your back.
You’re not to expose to the enemy the only part of you that is unprotected. That’s not a strategy. That’s why you’re not to run, but to take your stand. (excerpt from Encouraging Words devotion book at Bookstore Tab)
- Heart Trouble
- No Questions Asked
- No one is greater than their prayer life. If your prayers are serious to God, then they should be more significant to you. One of the greatest tragedies of life is when prayers go unanswered because they go unasked. Remember: The size of your prayers depend upon the size of your God.
