The disciple said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” John 21:7. Peter decided to go back to fishing because he no longer saw himself as a follower of Jesus. It was only after Peter’s wrongdoing that the Lord allowed Peter to begin doing the right things once again for the kingdom. Never count yourself out, no matter how much you see yourself on the outside. Listen now for the same voice that called you the first time.
