“…He was made known to them in the breaking of the bread.” Luke 24:35. Jesus was recognized by the two travelers on the Emmaus Road only after they invited Him home and gave Him their bread. He blessed the bread, but He also broke it. When you give your life to Jesus, it will be blessed. But it will also be broken. The more you know brokenness, the more you will know Him. Thank Him for the blessings, but you must also thank Him for the brokenness that brings about more blessings. (excerpt from Encouraging Words devotion book at Bookstore Tab)

- No Questions Asked
- No one is greater than their prayer life. If your prayers are serious to God, then they should be more significant to you. One of the greatest tragedies of life is when prayers go unanswered because they go unasked. Remember: The size of your prayers depend upon the size of your God.
