“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God and the prisoners were listening.” Acts 16:25. Father, I seem to be spending a lot of time in darkness imprisoned with my thoughts. Help me to see You as my Deliverer and will soon be able to see the light of day. I want to be an encourager to those who are imprisoned around me. Give me the courage to pray and sing praises to Your name. Amen. (excerpt from Encouraging Words devotion book at Bookstore Tab)
