“After Job had interceded for his friends, God restored his fortune-and then doubled it.” Job 42:10. Father, it’s difficult to pray for people who sometimes make life difficult for me. I know Jesus prayed for His enemies when He lived here and even when He was dying. Help me to do the same when I’m in the midst of adversity and criticism. As Your Word says, blessings follow obedience. Amen. (excerpt from Encouraging Words devotion book at Bookstore Tab)
