“…and having prepared everything, take your stand.” Ephesians 6:13
Paul tells us about the Christian armor, which includes a belt, breastplate, shoes, shield, and helmet for spiritual warfare. We are to take a stand against the enemy, but instead we run. You are not equipped for that move because there is no piece of equipment to protect your back.
You’re not to expose to the enemy the only part of you that is unprotected. That’s not a strategy. That’s why you’re not to run, but to take your stand. (excerpt from Encouraging Words devotion book at Bookstore Tab)
